Hello and welcome to SHARP (Off-Campus Housing Information) for the UMKC community. SHARP is for students who are seeking to find roommates, and landlords who have properties to rent.

Please note: We do not allow properties for sale to be listed on this site. If you have a property for sales and would like it advertised, please contact the site admin at kurupv[at]umkc.edu

We will be continually adding improvements to this site, and appreciate any feedback that you may wish to send us.

How To Use This Site

SHARP. has been setup for ease of use. To be able to use this free service, simply follow these steps:

1. Creating an account for yourself: Use the ' Member Sign Up' option to create a free account on UMKCSHARP. Establishing an account will allow you to add properties for rent and create a profile.

2. Search for rental properties: To search for available properties, simply click on the 'View All Listings' option. Use the subsequent page to either browse all the available listings, or search for a specific group of properties based on a combination of search criteria.

3. Searching for Roommates: The 'Search for Roommates' link is a good place to start your Roommate search. If you dont find one that matches your needs, you can create a listing/profile for yourself by logging into the system.

4. Editing your listing: Editing your profile has never been easier. You will need to login using the Member Login option and then simply use the 'Add/Edit A Listing' link to do so. Once you are logged in, you may edit or delete a listing for a property that is no longer available. Individuals searching for roommates can also delete their listings using the same method.
